Man, today's hitting different. Just found out a friend from back in the day, who I used to drink with a lot, passed away. It wasn't addiction related, but it just brings up so much. All those memories, the good ones and the really dark ones, they're just swirling. It's a weird kind of grief, you know? Sad for them, sad for what was, and also just really… grateful to be where I am now. But that gratitude still comes with a heavy heart. Feeling it all today.
