I’m trying to break the cycle. I drink, feel terrible about it for a day or two. Then, it’s like I forget how disappointed I feel. After maybe a few days, I give myself an excuse to drink again. It’s like I convince myself that it’s okay. Usually, I’m just bored. I try to do other things like workout super early so I’m too tired to drink when the evening hits. I try going for walks. I’ve tried gardening and being outside but it doesn’t work for longer than a few days.
