It just hit me today, like a ton of bricks, how much my perspective has changed. I used to think of sobriety as this HUGE mountain I had to climb, and every day was just another step, another struggle. And yeah, it IS hard sometimes, don't get me wrong. But lately, it's more like I'm building something really beautiful. Like I'm finally creating a life that feels authentic and real, not just surviving. That's a pretty BIG shift for me. It's not about what I'm missing out on anymore, it's about what I'm gaining. All the clarity, the genuine connections, the ability to actually FEEL things without running away. It's a gift, truly. And seeing all of you on your own journeys, it just makes me feel so much hope. Keep building your beautiful lives, too.
