wow, i just had a moment with my sister that really hit me in the feels. we used to fight so much, especially when i was deep in it. i mean, she had every right to be angry and hurt. but today, she actually asked me for advice on something really important to her. like, she trusted my judgment. that felt… pretty incredible. it’s been 1 year now and seeing how much our relationship has healed and grown since i got sober is just amazing. there's a real connection there again. it’s not always easy but it’s so worth the effort. makes all the hard work feel purposeful 💪.
