3 months sober
It's wild how the idea of "freedom" shifts when you're in recovery. For so long, I thought freedom was doing whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted, and that often meant drinking. Now, coming up on 3 months, I see it totally different. Freedom is not being tied to that craving, that constant internal battle. It's having the space in my head to actually think, to feel, to just BE. It's a quiet kind of freedom, but it's POWERFUL. 💪 And it's something I wouldn't trade for anything. Keep showing up for that quiet freedom, it's worth it.
