Man, sometimes I just wanna SCREAM. Not at anyone, just... at it, you know? At the sheer audacity of that old voice that thinks it can just waltz back in and whisper its lies like nothing's changed. Like I haven't fought tooth and nail for every single breath of this sober life. It's a real pain in the ass. And then I take a breath, or like five of 'em, and remember that it's just noise. A dying gasp from a part of me that's long gone. Still, it pisses me off that it even tries. But then I think about all of us here, doing the damn thing, and that fire just gets replaced with something else. SOMETHING stronger. We're showing up. We're winning. And that's all that matters.
