My best friend didn't say anything. That was the problem. We used to talk every day. Then every few days. Then I noticed I was always the one texting first and the replies were getting shorter and I kept telling myself he was just busy. One night I called him and he picked up and I could hear people in the background and he said hey I can't really talk right now and I said where are you and he paused just a second too long and said just out with some people. He didn't invite me anymore. I knew why. I just couldn't say it out loud yet.
