Tomorrow is 7 days sober after a binge episode. I have really been leaning into the “one day at a time” mindset. It’s almost like future trips or events where I may or may not be drinking influenced my decision and mindset weeks before it even happens, triggering a binge. The thought of “Well, I might have a drink then**” influenced how/if I drank today, if that makes sense. Taking away the details of the future allow me to concentrate on just today.
